We are pleased to announce that, effective immediately, Ms. Fatima Ahmed Abdullah Al Bastaki has been appointed as acting Principal of Hamdan bin Zayed School during this transitional period. We would also like to express our sincere gratitude and appreciation to Ms. Antoniya for her valuable contributions and support.​

Ms. Fatima is a highly respected educator and leader with more than 40 years of experience in the UAE’s education sector. She has played a key role in pioneering innovative learning programs, including the introduction and expansion of the Chinese Language Program across 179 schools in the UAE, and is recognized for her commitment to advancing education while upholding Emirati and Islamic values.

Her leadership has been widely acknowledged through numerous awards, including the prestigious Khalifa Award for Distinguished Teachers and the Chinese Government Friendship Award. She has also contributed to early childhood education initiatives and served on several national advisory councils.

As a long-standing member of Hamdan bin Zayed School community, Ms. Fatima brings a deep understanding of our values, students, and staff.
